CALLING FUTURE AVIATORS INTERESTED IN AGRI-TECH
Join us for an exciting experiential educational program designed to inspire youth in Kenya to harness future of work opportunities in the rapidly growing field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, otherwise known as drones! This hands-on workshop is at the intersection of drone technology, smart agriculture, and youth led entrepreneurship.
This program will introduce participants to the basics of drone technology, flight mechanics, and aerial photography with a CORE focus on SMART AGRICULTURE and Entrepreneurship. It will involve both a virtual component as well as in person hands on bootcamps.

It's a unique opportunity for young people to gain skills in a rapidly growing field. Content will include:
• Introduction to Drones: Learn the fundamentals of drone technology and how they work.
• Introduction in Drone data: Learn the fundamentals of interpreting drone data
• Hands-On Flying: Get the chance to fly drones under expert guidance.
• Aerial Images: Capture aerial photos and videos with application to the agricultural sector.
• Safety First: Understand the importance of drone safety and responsible flying.
• Graduate with a Remote Pilot License and field experience!
ELIGIBILITY:
This program is for young people in Kenya between 18-35 years of age, with particular focus on young women.
Must have an interest in Agriculture and Technology
Must be citizen and current (as off submission date) resident of Kenya.
English language proficiency required.
Participants selected as Top 20 FUTURE AVIATORS, must be able to participate in Virtual Training (2hrs per Day), and In-Person Training in Eldoret inclusive of intermittent field visits ( of note reasonable transportation, lodging and meals will be covered by the organization)
